# Using AhaSlides on a restricted network

> Many people use AhaSlides normally worldwide, including in China. If your network blocks it, here is what to ask your IT team or internet provider to allow.

Most people can use AhaSlides without doing anything special. AhaSlides will work fine as long as there are no restrictions from your internet service provider (ISP) or from your company, organisation or school, and you have a good and stable internet connection.

If AhaSlides won't load for you, the restriction is almost always coming from one of those two places.

## Does AhaSlides work in China?

Many users in China can still use AhaSlides normally.

For people who can't, a VPN might work — but it isn't stable, so we don't recommend it.

The same rule applies as anywhere else: as long as there are no restrictions from your ISP or from your company, organisation or school, and your internet is good and stable, AhaSlides will work fine.

## Restrictions from a company, organisation or school

If the restriction comes from your company, organisation or school network, you can ask them to whitelist AhaSlides — see the steps below.

## How to whitelist AhaSlides

Pass this on to whoever manages the network:

    Allow the following domains:

    audience.ahaslides.com
    presenter.ahaslides.com
    static.ahaslides.com
    api.ahaslides.com
    *.ahaslides.com
    ```

## Restrictions from your internet provider

If the restriction is coming from your ISP rather than from your own network, whitelisting won't help — you'll need to contact your ISP about it directly.
