# AhaSlides App for RingCentral Events

> Install the AhaSlides app inside RingCentral Events (formerly Hopin) to run polls, quizzes and word clouds from a Stage, Session, Expo Booth or Reception.

RingCentral Events (formerly Hopin) is virtual and hybrid event software for hosting online conferences, webinars and other business events in real time. Its App Store lists AhaSlides under the **Fun & games** and **Polls & surveys** categories, so you can run interactive presentations directly inside your RingCentral Events event — attendees respond without leaving the event page.

  The AhaSlides app for RingCentral Events is a third-party integration surfaced through RingCentral's own [App Store listing](https://apps.events.ringcentral.com/apps/aha_slides). Exact menu steps and naming can change on RingCentral's side — if something below doesn't match what you see, check the listing itself or RingCentral's support for the current App Store layout.

## What You Need

To use AhaSlides on RingCentral Events, you need both:

* **A RingCentral Events account on a paid plan.**
* **Any AhaSlides plan** (Free works; some advanced AhaSlides features need a paid subscription).

The AhaSlides app can be embedded into the activity panel of a **Stage**, **Session**, **Expo Booth** or **Reception** area. RingCentral Events and AhaSlides do not exchange any attendee data.

## How to Use AhaSlides and RingCentral Events Together

  <Step title="Create your presentation on AhaSlides">
    Build the presentation you want to run during your event as you normally would.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Install the AhaSlides app from the RingCentral Events App Store">
    From your RingCentral Events organiser dashboard, open the **App Store** and find AhaSlides under **Fun & games** or **Polls & surveys**. Add it to your organisation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Get your presentation's access code">
    In your AhaSlides account, find the presentation you want to use and copy its **access code** — it's shown directly on the dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add AhaSlides to an event area">
    In your event's dashboard, open the activity panel for the **Stage**, **Session**, **Expo Booth** or **Reception** you want, add the AhaSlides app, and paste in your presentation's access code to connect it.

Your attendees will now see an AhaSlides tab within that event area and can respond to your presentation live.
