# How to Manually Censor Responses on Open Ended & Word Cloud Slides

> Remove individual participant responses from Word Cloud and Open-Ended slides — click a word to remove it, or press the X icon next to an Open-Ended response.

Alongside the [profanity filter](/presenting/how-to-use-profanity-filter), you can manually remove individual participant responses from your Word Cloud and Open-Ended slides.

## 1. Remove submissions on a Word Cloud slide

On a Word Cloud slide, click on the word you want to remove. Clicking it removes it from the cloud.

## 2. Remove submissions on an Open-Ended slide

On an Open-Ended slide, find the submission you want to remove and press the **X** icon next to it.
