How to use the AI Panel

Log in to your AhaSlides account
Make sure you’re logged in to your AhaSlides account. If you don’t have one yet, sign up to unlock the AI Slide Generator.

Create or open a presentation
Start a new presentation, or open an existing one where you want to use the AI Panel.

Open the AI Panel
Click the AI button at the top right of the editor screen to open the AI interface.

Enter a prompt
Type instructions describing the presentation you want the AI to create or edit for you. You can also pick one of the ready-made prompts in the AI interface.You can start a new conversation, or reopen previous conversations, using the buttons in the panel.
Beyond the AI Panel: AhaSlides GPT and MCP
The AI Panel lives inside the AhaSlides editor. If you’d rather stay in the AI assistant you already use, AhaSlides also plugs into ChatGPT and into assistants that support MCP — both build slides straight into your AhaSlides account.AhaSlides GPT for ChatGPT
AhaSlides GPT is the official AhaSlides custom GPT in the ChatGPT store. Describe the presentation you want in a ChatGPT conversation and it builds a real, interactive AhaSlides deck for you — then keep chatting to refine it. You can open it from the Already using ChatGPT? Try AhaSlides GPT link at the bottom of the AI Panel, or find it in the Marketplace under AI & automation in your AhaSlides account. What AhaSlides GPT can do:- Turn a prompt into a presentation — give it a topic, an outline, or a rough idea, and it generates the slide structure and content for you.
- Build interactive slides — polls, quizzes, Q&A, word clouds, open-ended questions, and content slides, all created straight into your AhaSlides account.
- Create a real AhaSlides deck — the result is an actual presentation you open, edit, and present live, with your audience joining by code and responding in real time.
- Edit as you chat — ask it to change titles, update content, or tidy the layout, and the updates appear in AhaSlides right away.

Open AhaSlides GPT
In ChatGPT, click Explore GPTs in the left sidebar, search for AhaSlides GPT, then click New Chat.

Set things up
Enter your first prompt — an outline, a topic idea, or anything you want to present. When ChatGPT asks for access, sign in to AhaSlides and click Allow so it can create slides for you.

Create slides while you chat
Split your screen so you can chat on one side and watch the slides take shape on the other. Keep chatting to add more slides.

Fine-tune your presentation
Ask ChatGPT to tweak titles, update content, or polish the layout — updates appear in AhaSlides straight away, no refresh needed.
AhaSlides MCP for Claude and other AI assistants
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude talk directly to AhaSlides. Once connected, you can create presentations, build quizzes, edit and reorder slides, apply themes, and analyse audience responses — all by describing what you want in plain language.
