Locking submissions lets you disable or enable responses on a slide. Disabling submissions on a specific slide is useful when you need to explain a question before your audience votes, or any time you don’t want participants responding at that moment.

Lock submissions from the Edit view

Select the slide

Select the slide you want to lock submissions on.

Open the Content tab

Open the Content tab.

Check Lock submissions

Check the box Lock submissions. This disables submissions for that question. You can reopen them again later.

Lock submissions from the Presentation view

Click Lock submissions

While presenting, on the slide you want to stop submissions on, click the Lock submissions icon.

Reopen submissions

To enable submissions again, press the S key or click the Open submission icon.
