The status bar at a glance
What to do when you see the status bar
- Don’t change anything on your side. The bar means the problem is on our side, so restarting your router, clearing your browser data or switching devices won’t fix it.
- Follow the AhaSlides status page for live updates on which services are affected and when they are back.
- Try again in a few minutes. You don’t need to reload to make the bar go away: it disappears by itself once we have fixed the problem.
Troubleshooting AhaSlides when there is no status bar
Something fails, but there is no red bar
When there is no red bar, the cause is more likely to be your connection or your network. In that case the Cannot connect to server window asks you to check your internet connection.- Check your internet connection, then reload the page.
- If AhaSlides won’t load at all at work or school, the network may be blocking it. See Using AhaSlides on a restricted network.
- If your audience can’t join a live session, see Presentation won’t start or participants can’t join.
- Check the AhaSlides status page too, in case a problem has just started.
Frequently asked questions
Can I close the status bar?
Yes. Click the × on the right of the bar. This only hides it on the page you are on: it doesn’t affect the fix, and the bar shows again on other pages while the problem continues.Do I need to report the problem to AhaSlides?
No. The bar means we have found a problem on our side and are working on it. If something still doesn’t work after the bar has gone, email hi@ahaslides.com.Related pages
