Ask your AI assistant a question about your audience’s results and it builds a custom report from your own AhaSlides data. The report is saved to My reports on the Reports page, so you can open it again, pin it, set it as your Reports home or share it by link.

How to create a report

  1. Connect AhaSlides to Claude or ChatGPT. See the setup steps in the AhaSlides MCP getting started guide.
  2. Ask for the report you want, for example “Which quiz questions did my class struggle with this month?”
  3. Open Reports in AhaSlides. Your new report is in My reports.
Not sure where to start? In AhaSlides, click Reports in the left-hand menu, then Create report. The Create reports with AI window shows the server URL with a Copy button and a link to this guide.
Reports are saved to My files, in the Reports folder. The AI only uses data from your own account.

Manage your reports

Open My reports to see every report you have created, with when it was last updated. Use the sort menu to order them by Recently updated, Recently created or Name A to Z.
  • Pin a report: Click the pin icon on its row. Pinned reports are listed in the menu on the left of the Reports page, so you can reach them in one click. Click the pin again to unpin it.
  • Set a report as your Reports home: Open the report and click the house icon (Set as home). From then on, clicking Reports in the left-hand menu opens that report first. Click the icon again (Remove as home) to go back to the default.
  • Share a report by link: Open the report and click Share. Anyone with the link can view the report, but not edit it. Use Copy link to copy the link, or Stop sharing to turn it off, after which the link no longer works.
  • Delete a report: Click the three dots on its row, then Delete.
A shared report is read-only and always shows current data. New activity can take up to 5 minutes to appear.

Overview report

Overview is a page on the Reports page that shows what matters most in one place. You can find it in My reports, and you can pin it or set it as your Reports home like any other report.
  • Needs attention: The quiz questions your audience found hardest, and people who haven’t joined a session in over 30 days. Click Open to look closer.
  • Recent sessions: Your latest live sessions, with the date and the number of responses. Click All sessions to see the full list.
Use the date range at the top to change the period. Overview includes sessions, surveys and quizzes.
