If your company already has an AhaSlides team plan and you sign in with your work email, you can ask to join that team instead of buying your own plan. Your team admin approves the request, and you get the team’s licence at no extra cost.
Joining by email domain is not yet available in every region. It will reach the rest later.

Where you see the Join the rest of your team banner

The banner names your team and shows up when your work email matches the domain your admin linked. You can see it on:
  • The pricing page
  • Checkout
  • The upgrade pop-ups
  • The top of your Home page
The banner doesn’t appear if your admin has turned join requests off, if you use a free personal email such as Gmail, or if you’re already in a team.

Verify your email first

If your email isn’t verified yet, the banner says Verify email to join. Click it, open the link we email you, then come back to the banner. If the email doesn’t arrive, click Resend link.

Ask to join a team

Add a note (optional)

Click Add a note for your admin (optional) and say why you’d like to join. A note can be up to 300 characters.

Send the request

Click Request to join. The banner changes to Request sent, and we email you a confirmation.

Wait for your admin

Your team Owners and Admins get an email. When one answers, we email you. If nobody answers within 14 days, the request expires.
On the checkout page, Continue buying for myself lets you carry on with your own plan instead.

Cancel a request

While the banner shows Request sent, click Cancel request, then Yes, cancel request to confirm. Click Keep request to leave it as it is. You can send a new request 30 days after a request ends, whether it was cancelled, declined or expired.

Hide the banner

Click the close icon on the banner to hide it. It stays hidden for 30 days. You can’t close it on the checkout page.

What if my request is declined?

We email you, and you can still buy a plan for yourself. See the AhaSlides pricing page.

What if the admin has no free licence?

The request stays waiting while your admin frees up or adds a licence. Admins see the steps in Link your email domain to your team.

Why don’t I see the banner?

Your company may not have linked its email domain yet. Ask your team admin to do it. Have a question?
